oil shipments to India rose sharply in March, according to data from crude oil tracking firm Kpler. Russian oil imports have fallen by about 800,000 barrels a day since peaking last year. US officials stressed that Putin's profits would be limited by restricting Russian oil sales opportunities. If India were to buy more oil from the USA soon, Russia would have to look for other oil buyers.
