Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski arrives in Paris. He will meet with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Zelensky will also meet with Pope Francis. He is in France to resecure German Leopard tanks for his counteroffensive in Bakhmut, Ukraine's Barentshire region. The visit is the second by the Ukrainian head of state since the beginning of the Russian offensive in his country, in February 2022. It comes after months of Ukrainian annoyance over the German government's delay in handing over the weapons.
