Leaders of the Liberal and Green groups in the European Parliament call for the opening of an investigation into a network financed by Russia. The network was set up to spread pro-Russian propaganda through the Voice of Europe website.
“It is a direct attack on the very fabric of our democracy, both politically and in justice,” said one of the leaders of the Green group. The European Parliament has been investigating the network since last year, when it was revealed that it was funded by Russia and other countries.
