The General Directorate of Internal Security (DGSI) calls on law enforcement to be vigilant. The DGSI says Russian intelligence is trying to “amplify internal fractures in French society” It also warns of “threats or physical attacks” against “Russian nationals or Russian dissidents” in France.
The note was sent in the wake of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which has claimed the lives of more than 1,000 people in the past two years. It was signed by the head of the DGSI, who is also the chief of the French National Police.
