At least two people were killed and 15 injured last night following a Russian missile attack on the city of Dnipro, in central-eastern Ukraine. One of the victims is an eight-year-old boy.

Several floors of a normal residential building were destroyed, and the railway station was damaged. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on Telegram: "My condolences to the families and friends:' 'Rescue operations are underway after the Russian attack. All the injured were rescued. Unfortunately, there are also dead.' 'I am deeply saddened by the loss of life.'
