The small town of Kupyansk (formerly 30,000 inhabitants) is located around 85 kilometers southeast of Kharksiv, the second largest city in Ukraine with around 1.5 million citizens. According to Ukrainian army spokesman Volodymyr Fityo, “Kupyans remains their main priority”
