Simon Leys, the man who undressed Mao, a not-to-be-missed documentary broadcast this Saturday, February 3 at 9 p.m. on Public Senate.

In his book The New Clothes of Chairman Mao, Simon Leys was the first to denounce the crimes of the Grand Helmsman. Leys never saw China again after a final trip in 1973 and rarely returned to his native country. In a libelle entitled Pour Luxun (Lou Sin), published in 1975, French Maoist Michelle Loi revealed her real identity to the world.
