The boy arrived at Assuta Hospital last week with multiple systemic injuries. A preliminary investigation indicates that a moving company was operating at the site.
Two of the movers were detained for questioning at the Ashdod police station. The boy died of his wounds Sunday evening at the hospital in the city ofAshdod. The hospital said: "Unfortunately, despite the doctors' efforts, the child passed away. We wish to share in the family's grief" The cause of the fall is still under investigation.
