Sahara dust is spreading in Bavaria: cloudy skies on the Easter weekend. In the Alps, however, the red alert is currently in effect: above 1,500 meters, hurricane-like gusts occur at speeds between 80 and 105 km/h.
It will also remain stormy in the surrounding area at least until midnight on Saturday. The weather phenomenon was clearly visible on Saturday in Nuremberg, Fürth, Erlangen and Bamberg. It could also cause reddish sunsets and stay in the air until the middle of the week.
