Plainclothes police officer killed a thief and injured two others who tried to steal his car. The two injured people are 14 and 16 years old and had criminal records.
It happened on the corner of San Lorenzo and Balcarce in the central neighborhood of San Telmo. The officer, a member of the 3B Neighborhood Police Station who was in civilian clothes after finishing his service, was traveling aboard a Renault Sandero truck. The youngest victim also has a history of theft and fighting, according to reports from the Buenos Aires police.
