Santiago de Estrada, former Secretary of Worship of Mauricio Macri's government, died at the age of 89. He was also a Buenos Aires legislator, ambassador to the Vatican and one of the founders of the PRO.

Closely linked to the Catholic Church and conservative in his positions, he was nicknamed "the Bishop" for his strong ties with the ecclesiastical hierarchy.
