Scheduled meeting on rule of law for EU report - Chigi - Politics. Technical experts of the Italian government and the European Commission (EC) are to hold a meeting by remote on Monday.
The meeting is part of a broader activity for an annual report involving all 27 European Union member states. La Repubblica newspaper reported that EU inspectors would be in Italy to look into issues concerning justice, state broadcaster Rai and a law proposal banning the publication of the contents of preventative-detention warrants.
