The citizens' meeting of the community of Pastetten received a great response in the town. The expansion of the school was an important topic, but the guests were particularly excited about the detailed cost estimate for the construction of the fire station.

The rainwater canal in Poigenberg is also scheduled to be started this year. The plan is to close Fröbelweg to through traffic. The old town hall is to be demolished to create parking spaces. According to the architects' design, an “educational campus will be created in the new town center”. The current number of 191 students will grow to 221 by 2026 and then level off at 215.
