Game of Thrones creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have signed a contract with Netflix.
The series is adapting The Three-Body Problem, the first volume of the trilogy by Chinese writer Liu Cixin. In this fairly specific genre, everything must be plausible and rest on valid scientific and technical foundations. Mao's China, where part of the series takes place, emerges anything but enhanced.
