The Secretary of Tourism, Environment, and Sports, Daniel Scioli, had another television appearance this Thursday. He spoke again about the possibility of Sports Joint Stock Companies.

He asked that club members have the chance to decide which model they want. He also highlighted the case of Uruguay again, which has laws that support this type of corporate scheme. The former governor of the Province of Buenos Aires already had a run-in with the treasurer of the AFA on this topic. The leader of the entity chaired by Claudio Tapia came out to cross it due to a tweet that Scioli published in November 2018. In it, he published that a bill presented by his block was being debated in a session of the Sports Commission. This project prohibited clubs from transforming into public limited companies. Toviggino questioned his current position and was quick to remind him of these statements. He expressed his support for President Javier Milei's project. He stressed that it must be their will and not an external imposition.
