Today we celebrate National Sea Day, established in 2017 to draw attention to the need for protection for our waters and the biodiversity that populates them. "Italy is at the forefront, at a national level and in all global forums, in the defense of an inestimable treasure", says the Minister of the Environment and Energy Security Gilberto Pichetto.

"From the sea it draws the reason for such natural beauty and prosperity, but also for culture and modernity", he adds. "Now - Pichettos recalls - the Constitution itself requires us to preserve it for future generations" The event is organized by the Association for the Protection of Biodiversity in Italy and is open to the public.
