Christine Adolf and her twin sister Susanne were born in Komotau, a town on the Czech border. The family had to flee during the Second World War.

After the war, the family lived in Vilshofen, Landau and Passau. The senior citizen is now celebrating her 90th birthday in Glonn. Despite her considerable age, she still expresses one wish: “She still wants to reach 100,” says daughter Gabi Pupp.. Christine Adolf had to move often in her life. The former seamstress has long since arrived in the market town. She celebrated her 95th birthday there with her family. The 95-year-old is physically fit, but she is sometimes a bit lazy. “But you can’t blame her for that,’ says her daughter.. Despite the many moves, Christine Adolf has never lost sight of her sister. She moved in with her sister in Bruckmühl after her husband's death.
