Serious mix-up in the hospital – pregnant woman mistakenly gets abortion. The mistake took place in Prague's Bulovka University Hospital.
The hospital itself announced to the news portal Novinky.cz that it was ready to pay compensation. The Prague police are investigating the case. While there is a strict ban on abortion in Poland, the number of abortions in Germany rose again in 2023. The Czech Ministry of Health also confirmed the incident to the CTK news agency. “There has been an unforgivable human error, the culprits have been taken out of service for the time being," said a ministry spokesman.
