Porsche has no factories in America, neither for cars nor for batteries. Porsche wants to build a factory for high-performance batteries with a capacity of up to 20 gigawatt hours.
In Germany, the car manufacturer could receive funding of between 700 and 800 million euros. The current 718 series at Porsche will expire at the end of 2024. If the settlement does not take place in Baden-Württemberg, it would be a ‘setback’ for Germany.
