The Senate has been going through a long-standing paralysis. The last session was on April 13, after four months without being able to meet.
In between, the commissions are unable to meet or decide on projects, so there are still no plans for a next session. The ruling party also had its own absences and could not start the meeting. The commission has 17 members: the Frente de Todos, Together for Change has 7 and the new Federal Unity bloc has two.
