Sonia Houston blames Austin, Texas, police for failing to investigate the death of 66-year-old Gloria Lofton in 2019. If Raul Meza hadn't confessed, he said, "this would be another unsolved case" Meza, 62, confessed to several murders, including Lofton's death, authorities said.
Meza served 11 years in prison for the sexual abuse and murder of an 8- year-old girl in 1982.. Austin police are looking for links between Meza and at least 10 other unsolved homicides dating back to the 1990s.
