Two crime scenes - one in a single-family home in Westervesede in the municipality of Scheeßel, and one in Bothel in the Rotenburg district. Alleged perpetrator turned himself in and was arrested, said a police spokeswoman.
It is unclear whether there is a connection between the two crime scenes. Police assume it was a capital crime - according to the spokeswoman, it is unclear if there was a victim or a motive for the shooting. A large contingent of police officers is on duty.
