Siena Uni for Foreigners suspends teaching for Eid al-Fitr. Dean Tommaso Montanari: Suspension intended to be a "visible sign of solidarity with the Palestinian population of Gaza" The university also intends to suspend teaching on October 11 for Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Repentance, which falls almost "one year after the 7 October massacre" by Hamas against Israel that sparked the war in Gaza.
