Signa Group: Public prosecutor's office is investigating money laundering. Until a few months ago, René Benko was considered a multi-billionaire.
Benko himself has now also filed for bankruptcy in the Tyrolean state capital of Innsbruck. This involves, among other things, a subsidy that Benko had announced for the insolvent holding company of the Signa Group, which has not yet been fully paid. Other public prosecutor's offices in Germany are also involved in the case.
