In 2023, a total of 4,427 vehicles were newly registered in the Starnberg district, including 3,150 cars. Of these, 915 were purely electric vehicles, which accounts for almost 30 percent.
Combustion engines without electrical support only make up half of new cars. The preferred colors when buying new cars are classic - 31.6 percent of vehicles across Germany were gray and 26.5 percent were black.
