Six dead, including a baby, in an attack on the Russian city of Belgorod. The Russian Defense Ministry, which accuses Ukraine of aggression, claims to have shot down 14 rockets fired by Ukrainian forces.
This is the second major aggression suffered by Bel Gorod since the large-scale invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022. On December 30, another attack killed 25 people and injured more than a hundred in the city. The offensive by Ukrainian Forces responded to a wave of Russian bombings in neighboring country.
