A horse landed in a ditch in the southern part of the Erdinger Moos on Good Friday (March 29th) A good 60 emergency services were involved in his rescue. The attempt to pull the animal out of the ditch by hand using fire hoses failed.
A truck with a loading crane from the municipality of Ismaning was used. The horse was pulled up with the crane and placed on a meadow, assisted by firefighters by hand. According to reports, the horse survived the accident without any serious injuries.
