Rudolf Kaspar Tiefenbrunner died completely unexpectedly at the age of 84. He was the last wheelwright in the district.
“The whole village was affected when the news of his death spread,” said Mayor Klaus Rauchberger with moving words in his obituary at the open grave. He had four children with his wife Rosmarie, whom he married in 1966. The large family now includes five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He built his own carpentry business and also ran a gas station in Jachenau for 23 years.
