Socialist Christine Bost becomes the first woman to president of Bordeaux Métropole. The socialist mayor of Eysines replaced this Friday the mayor of Mérignac, Alain Anziani, who resigned from the presidency of the metropolis for health reasons.
To date, there are only five women out of 22 to preside over metropolises and within our institution there are just seven women. The former mayor of the city, Pierre Brana, was also present in the audience.
