The soft-leaved acanthus perennial plant is spectacular due to its volume. The spectacular flowering takes place between June and August, depending on the region.
The ribbed, shiny dark green and very cut foliage gives Acanthus mollis an exotic appearance. It is even a medicinal plant, known since Antiquity for its anti-inflammatory, healing, emollient, antidiarrheal and even expectorant properties. The strain is hardy down to -15°C.
