Solar eclipse of April 2024: the explanation of an Argentine scientist at NASA. Why eclipses can help search for life on other planets and the planning and development of space missions.

Dr. Lucas Paganini is deputy program executive for NASA's Roman Space Telescope, where he has worked for 14 years. People viewing the eclipse from places where the Moon's shadow completely covers the Sun (known as the stripe of totality) will experience a total solar eclipse. This phenomenon will occur on April 8; It will not be seen from Argentina, but it will be seen in Mexico, Canada and the United States.
