Police in Ecuador have arrested Jorge Glas, the former vice president. Glas was wanted for corruption and had been staying at the Mexico representation in the Ecuadorian capital Quito for months. On Friday, the Mexican Foreign Ministry announced that it wanted to grant Glas asylum.
