Police in Jerusalem opened an investigation today (Saturday) following a complaint about an attack on a Christian cleric near the Jaffa Gate during the day. In recent months there have been a series of serious incidents in which Christian clergymen were attacked in the Old City area of Jerusalem by Jewish youths.
