Since the 2018 attempt, the executive has not reopened the case. Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy, also said that he would hold on June 19 a "public finance conference" to unveil the government's savings tracks for the 2024 budget.
As in 2017, the Ministries of Housing and Labour are already identified as potential sources of savings. The government still hopes to play on the fight against tax fraud or the new sanctions reserved for RSA beneficiaries who do not comply with the support path of the return to employment.
