Stefano Boeri is famous for his tree-lined skyscrapers, called Bosco Verticale. Born under the same sign as Gio Ponti (1956, start of construction of the Pirelli skyscraper), to an architect mother and a neurologist father.

He is also an enthusiastic and slightly “spoilt” grandfather – as he says himself – to the point of transforming into an architect-monkey, with the same glasses on his head. “ It’s the character of Archibò, who is part of a Rai series which will be broadcast in the fall. He lives in the trees, like Calvino's Baron perched... And it's really me,” explains Boeri.
