The weak performance of Wall Street, struggling with the quarterly reports of the major US banks, slows down the European stock markets. Milan continued to rise by 0.6%, driven by Saipem (+4.2%), Amplifon (+3.46%) and Enel (-3.15%).

Interpump (-4.1%) and Stellantis (-2.44%) slipped to the bottom of the main basket. The best stock market is London (+1%) while Frankfurt (+0.03%) and Paris (unchanged) have almost eliminated their gains. Government bond yields remain in decline. the ten-year BTP yields 3.72% and the spread with the Bund has risen slightly, compared to the opening, to 139.8 points.
