The tourists from America and Australia were ultimately left without their belongings, medication and vaccination certificates. Four of the stranded passengers were elderly, one was a paraplegic and one had a heart condition. Another cruise vacationer was pregnant. The eight travelers have reboarded the ship in Senegal on Tuesday. “Despite a series of unfortunate events that are beyond our control, the travel costs would be reimbursed,” the shipping company said.
