German Weather Service issues level three weather warning for parts of Bavaria. Gusts of up to 80 km/h must be expected near showers and in exposed locations, writes the DWD.

The weather will remain similarly wet, cold (temperatures around 15 degrees) and thundery until at least Thursday, April 18th. On Tuesday night, “rain with temporarily strong to stormy gusts, locally squalls” will move across the Free State. The snowfall line drops significantly to 600 to 800 meters - as a reminder: Munich is already at 520 meters.. Summer on the weekend, thunderstorms and squalls at the start of the week - April does what it wants, but these days it shows that particularly clearly. The meteorologists from the German Weather Service (DWD) warned of squalls and gusts of wind throughout Bavaria on Monday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. There was a crash south of Munich on Monday evening - and it is expected to remain uncomfortable throughout the coming days.
