German Weather Service (DWD) expects temperatures of up to 30 degrees in southern Germany today. It is likely to be particularly hot on the Upper Rhine, but in other parts of Germany the weather should also be mostly bright and sometimes warm with temperatures of 22 to 29 degrees.

In the south there is even a possibility that the 30 degree mark will be reached - "a temperature level that has never been reached before at the beginning of April" The DWD expects a cooling down in the new week, and by the middle of the week the temperatures should fall back to a "normal level"
