State security is now investigating a possible political motive, a police spokeswoman told the German Press Agency (dpa) The Jewish Student Union of Germany (JSUD) demonstrates at Fridays for Israel in front of the Free University of Berlin. A student of Jewish faith was attacked on Saturday night (February 3). The 30-year-old student was taken to hospital with serious injuries and had to undergo surgery.
