Several attacks against politicians are causing concern in Thuringia. Police investigating serious arson in all directions, Interior Minister Georg Maier (SPD) told the dpa. Arson means causing the death of people or condoning it, Thuringian PM Bodo Ramelow wrote on the X platform (formerly Twitter): “An outrageous act of brutal use of force.” The perpetrators may have been disturbed because a slogan was not completed, police said.
