Hungarian athlete Hubert Kos, world champion in the 200m backstroke last year, also decided to follow Bowman. LéonMarchand currently has the status of a university athlete, but he could turn professional when he moves. The Frenchman should therefore settle in Texas at least until the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
