Temperatures will drop by 10 degrees today and then rise again tomorrow with peaks of 30 degrees over the weekend. Weather will still have strong thunderstorms in the North, locally in the Center between Sardinia, Tuscany, Umbria, Marche and Lazio.

The most intense phenomena are expected in the Po Valley, especially between Lombardy and Emilia, also with possible local hailstorms. From tomorrow the bad weather will give way to high pressure: maximum temperatures are expected to increase by around 6-7°C in the Tyrrhenian area and by as much as 12-14°C in the Alps. The wind will also be the protagonist: it will blow strongly across Western Liguria, Sardinia and towards the Lower Tyrrhensian Sea. Snow is also expected on the border Alps, with altitude rising to 1700-1800 metres. The sun and the North African heat will return everywhere from Thursday until the weekend, says Lorenzo Tedici of 'iLMeteo.it'
