The boy sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the fall. The relatives who were in an apartment with the toddler are currently being looked after by the police crisis intervention team. Last year, a four- year-old fell from the fifth floor of an apartment building in Offenbach and was taken to hospital with life- threatening injuries.
