Italian Teima Sohaib, 21, was arrested in Lyon, suspected of the murder of the girl found dead in the woods near Aosta. According to the autopsy, the 22-year-old French woman was hit with a knife and later died from bleeding.

The young man is already on trial for acts of violence against the victim and for these accusations, he will have to appear before the Grenoble Correctional Court in a few weeks. The prosecutors of Aosta and Grenoblle have also opened an investigation into the murder, for which he is suspected. The victim was 22 years old and lived in France, near Lyon, some of her relatives, who arrived in Aosta, recognized her. She was found in the former small church in the Equilivaz hamlet of La Salle, a bush village that has been abandoned for years. The girl, who was touring Europe, wearing a beige sweatshirt and a pair of leggings, was curled up on the ground in a fetal position.
