A 40-year-old man was killed by a car in Kiryat Ata. He is the 89th person to be killed in Israel this year.
In the same period last year, there were 33 people killed in the same way. The man was pronounced dead at the scene by MDA medics. The victim's name has not yet been released by the MDA.
