Fidel 'N' attacked his ex-partner Esmeralda Millán with acid in Puebla. He threw a bucket of acid at her, destroying part of her face and body.
This is the second conviction for this type of crime in Latin America. Carmen Sánchez's attacker, Efrén García, was sentenced to 46 years and eight months in prison for the same crimes. His case was the first that punished this kind of aggression as an attempted femicide and not as an aggravating circumstance.
