The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) brings together more than 3,000 attendees in the coastal city of the Dominican Republic. The General Assembly of Governors of the member countries, including officials in the Finance portfolios, as well as heads of central banks, will be held on Saturday and Sunday.

In those two days, a series of reforms proposed by IDB President Ilan Goldfajn will be voted on, including a new institutional strategy and plans to strengthen the institution's private arm, IDB Invest.
