The Appointments Committee is delayed by Judge Drori's approval for the Chairman of Itor Broadcasting Corporation. The committee held several discussions regarding Droro's candidacy for chairman of the search committee - and did not approve him.

Drora became famous, among other things, by attacking the prosecutor's office in the background of the Netanyahu cases and expressing support for the coup d'état. It is likely that if the appointment is approved he will encounter a petition to the High Court. It was also claimed against the minister that his ambitions are to dissolve the existing council. In fact, the corporation's management officially said that Krai was "preparing the ground for taking over the organization", writes Shlomo Karai in Walla! Barangay, a new book about Israel's media industry. The book, published by Simon & Schuster, is available in English and in Hebrew on Kindle and Nook, with a limited edition of 1,000 copies for $20.
