The building authority is retrofitting: a lot of money for new guardrails. The directive has been in place since 2012, now it is becoming more concrete.
Guardrails are being retrofitted on federal highways 13 and 472. In the coming years, protective barriers will be installed next to the roads in various places in the district. The construction site was most recently located on Bundesstraße 13 near Sachsenkam. Once the construction site on the B13 is finished, it will soon move on to federal highway 472 east of Flinthöhe.
